From EAA AirVenture 2011. Alabama National Guard Viper experienced !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the cockpit upon landing and overran the North-South runway. I just happened to be listening to ATC when this happened. Pretty crazy to all of a sudden hear "send the trucks, the Viper just overran".

With all that technology they still needed him to fly down for a closer look.

I made a GIF of that when it happened.
I'm also finding the new Kinja updates to be quite self aware.
Not only does it show thumbnails of OUR related articles, but is reformatting linked stories from other sites and displaying them the same way.

Would applying the brakes without cues after confirming touchdown be more dangerous than not braking at all?
Side: ATC at Oshkosh is amazing during AirVenture. I love hearing the requests to rock the wings and put the plane down on the numbers.

Good question, I have no idea.
For the last couple years after I get home from Oshkosh I go to LiveATC and download 6-8 hours of archived ATC audio from the week so when I get the bug again 6 months later I can get a fix. I'd be happy to throw some of the 2013 files in my Dropbox if you want to have a few hours. It's mostly traffic from early evening when the open the airport back up to arrivals and departures. Lots of "clear to land on the green dot" and so on.

That's OK, but thanks for the offer. I'll use it to get my dad to go back in a year or two. What I am going to do, though, is go back through my photos for a post later.
